Pet care experience
My full time job is as an animal manager at Petco. I work with animals on a daily basis and would love to have more personal experience caring for peoples pets. I take pride in my work and thoroughly enjoy being with animals and making sure they have the best quality of care. I’m great at providing updates and sending photos. I’ve always had dogs and cats in my life. It’s stressful to leave your pet and know they will be loved and cared for, I assure you that I will do my best to make your pet happy and comfortable. I typically meet up prior to the first visit. I think it’s important to learn their routine to make them most comfortable and meet your pet prior to the visit. I have experience taking animals to the vet and administering medication.

Alex is a wonderful sitter!! Our dog is very defensive and shy but he warmed up to Alex so well, we were pleasantly surprised. Alex was very thoughtful and caring towards our animals, and kept us well updated throughout our trip. We truly appreciate knowing that we were able to leave our babies in great hands.
Alex was kind enough to help us out when another Rover caregiver backed out the last minute. He kept me apprised of any issues that came up which enabled us to have a great time at our daughters graduation. Definitely rebooking the next time.
Bleu worships the ground Alex walks on. Nothing makes her more exited than Alex coming to take her for a walk and a fun play session. He’s taught her many games and she adores him. He’s responsible, dependable and wonderful to canines and humans. Can’t say enough great things about him.
Alex is a dependable fun loving person having cared for his own many animals and while also working at Petco. Alex had taken care of our animals in the past and is a great animal caretaker .

A typical day
I’ll keep your pets entertained with treats, chew toys, playing, and long walks. Making sure they are mentally and physically stimulated. I’ll make sure to provide updates and photos of feeding, walks, playtime, and relaxing.

Availability
I work full time at a pet store, five days a week. I typically am free in the evenings after 6pm and in the mornings before 9am. I can feed in the morning and evenings. In my free time outside of work, I will dedicate my time to loving and caring for your pets. I typically am only available before and after work, as well as on my days off. Unfortunately, if I am working - I wont be able to provide potty breaks for up to 9 hours.
