I’ve grown up with dogs since I was a baby and am not preferential to any specific breed. I’m happy to pet them, play with them, feed them, go on walks and runs. I’m a recent college graduate which means my availability should be fairly flexible. I’m very gentle with dogs in general. If a dog prefers wrestling, I can be more playful in that sense, but I prefer taking things slow with a new dog until I fully understand what they like and don’t like. Besides my experience with dogs from family and friends, I also previously did volunteer work at Homeward Pets in Woodinville where I walked shelter dogs around town and then played with them in their kennels. This gave me the opportunity to interact with a variety of breeds.

Alex took excellent care of Pixie while we were out of town. He reviewed the care instructions I left for her on Rover.com and went over the information with me in person to confirm the information. It was extremely hot while we were gone. Alex made sure to take Pixie on walks when it was cool. He took great care to play and pet her so she didn’t miss us too much. Alex is a great sitter and I will use him the next time we need someone to watch Pixie.

I have known Alex since he was in first grade. He is responsible, kind, gentle and very likable. When Alex was a senior in high school, he was awarded his Eagle Scout. I was present for his amazing presentation! He worked very hard to achieve this honor. Alex has been around my pets and has alway been so gentle and at such ease with them. Alex loves dogs! He is gentle, caring and responsible. Exactly what you want in a dog caregiver. His family always had dogs and Alex loved playing and walking them. He’s great with my dog, an Australian cattle mix. He is good with many breeds, including daschunds, minature schnauzers, Carolina dogs, Border Collies and Cocker Spaniels. Alex will take good care of your dog!
