Kind, genuine man on a new path
Pet care experience
Outside of caring for my own dog, my brother's dog, a few friends pets and volunteering for a very short time at the Monmouth County SPCA, my experience in animal care is limited. During my dozen or so visits to help at the shelter I helped with puppy care including cleaning their crates, refilling water and carefully playing with them. My family and friends have asked me to help with their pets and I hope to gain your trust to care for your furry little loved ones while earning a chance to grow within this industry.

I have known Alex for well over 20 years. Alex is a dedicated, hard-working, kind, and selfless type of individual. I have been very fortunate to watch Alex grow over the years and constantly challenge himself to get better both professionally and personally. Alex loves animals and he takes great care of his dog Bogie. I trust Alex with my dog and it’s always g great watching them interact. Alex really is the type of person that once you interact with him, you realize how special he really is and how many lives he makes better. I have been very fortunate to call Alex not only a friend but her brother and somebody that is always there for me and I vouch for him 1000%.
Alex is a fun-loving friend of my dog Bogie. He has helped out caring for and walking Bogie on many occasions. Bogie loves his uncle Alex and always goes the long way on their walks. He would be a good friend and caretaker to anyone’s pets

I will perform this duty with diligence, patience, enthusiasm and humility as I learn each specific pet's needs and interests. I will perform each task given to me thoroughly and always show respect to the pet, the owner and the home I am visiting. At the moment, my home is not available or properly prepared to host any pets aside from my own.

It is best that I am not responsible for any pet’s that require injections. I wouldn’t want to jeopardize their well-being with my discomfort around needles.
A typical day
Certain dogs enjoy different styles of play for different durations. I use tug-of-war toys, a squeaky ball, stuffed animals or whatever the pet’s favorite thing is! If the dog prefers to be inside or outside is also a factor. For walks, the best locations are new locations or places with the best aromas. A walk in the forest or at a local park are typical but some dogs enjoy to be by the water as well such as a creek, pond or small lake.

Availability
I am currently available on weekday mornings and afternoons with most Saturdays open as well. I have only a few select nights for house sitting available once I've earned that responsibility.
