Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Alex and here is a little bit about my experience: While I have been pet sitting for as long as I can remember, I have about a decade of dedicated care. I have spent the last 3.5 years as a veterinary assistant/technician and recently left the field to pursue non-profit work. However, I am still excited to be pursuing pet sitting within San Francisco as my dedication to animals is still as strong as ever. I have experience in fear free handling, medication and IV fluid administration, animals with disabilities, senior pets, and puppies/kittens. While I do work during the day, my job is flexible and I am available for morning and evening drop ins, overnights, and house-sitting, based on your preferences. I hope to meet you and your pet soon!

Alex took great care of my pups and was always responsive to questions. She was very proactive in providing updates and photos so I did not miss any fun moments. I appreciate that she has experience with older pups and she made me feel at ease about leaving my dogs in her care.

A typical day
I strive to listen to what makes each cat or dog uniquely happy in their home or on their walk. Based on each pets requirements, I will make sure they have been properly exercised with as many elements of fun as possible. I am happy to incorporate toys, tricks, runs, swims, even treats if it's okay!

I am currently working full time, Monday - Friday, 9-5PM. I am available on weekends and most holidays. I am available for morning and evening drop ins from Monday- Friday.
