Hi! I’m Alex, a young professional that lives in Sandy Hill, and I LOVE dogs. I live a very active lifestyle, I walk to and from work everyday along the canal going for long walks along the Canal and hanging out in the beautiful dog-friendly parks in my neighbourhood. The best of part of my days growing up was coming home from school and going on a long walk with my golden retriever Gibson. Now that I work full time, I'd love nothing more than to take your dog on a long walk and play in the park! I am new to Ottawa so I cant imagine a better way to explore the city than through the eyes of a pup. I am a runner so if your dog is energetic enough I love to get in some good exercise for them before cooling off at the park with a frisbee or ball! I look forward to earning your trust by taking amazing care of your pup. I can't wait for all the fun that we will have with your dog, and I’ll make sure to send lots of pictures of all the activities we get up to while you are away! Wow, I was blown away by Alex's comfort with and care for my dog! My dog is reactive to other dogs and Alex did a fantastic job actively and positively working with him on his reactivity. She clearly has a love of dogs; I can only say great things about her work.

A typical day
When I take a dog for walk, I like to let them explore and tell me where they want to go, (with the exception of going into dangerous areas i.e. roads, ditches etc). As much as it is for the dogs experience, it gives me a new appreciation of how other animals see the world.
