Pet care experience
I have always been a big animal lover! I grew up in a household with both dogs and cats and love both equally. During the pandemic, my wife and I rescued our first dog Beau, and being his dog dad is one of my favorite (and most rewarding) roles! I have learned so much from him especially how to better interact with anxious dogs. We regularly dog sit for our friends and family. I have extensive experience with small and large dogs including Pomeranians, Maltese, Golden retrievers, and mixed breeds (like my pup Beau)! I know that your pets are family and I would be honored to help care for them as if they were my own!

Alex has been extremely reliable and cooperative when contacting him to walk Rocky. Since our dog is fairly strong, we felt Alex was commanding enough to handle him and it has worked out great. Also, Alex has a positive and friendly demeanor which also helps with Rocky since Alex doesn't see him routinely. All in all, Alex has been excellent!
My girls really liked Alex from the start, he was great with them and would definitely recommend him!

I would like to know of any special needs regarding health or behaviors, and how you would like me to provide the best care for your pup. I want to what they like as well as any potential triggers to avoid. Overall, I would like to know everything that will help me care for them the best way I can (for example: how are they with other animals, people, walking on a leash, etc.). Please let me know any requests that you have to make your dog feel as happy as possible when they are with me. I know your pets are family and I will take great care to follow any specific instructions for training/feeding/treats/etc. The MORE I know about your pet, the better I can serve your pet!
A typical day
I love to go on long walks with the dogs along with lots of snuggles and play time. Walking my dog is one of my favorite ways to exercise- he loves to go to the beach but I am open to walking yours wherever he likes!

Availability
I work from home and have the flexibility to take care of your dog's (or cats') needs whether that means a walk, playtime, or anything else that enjoy. During the day on weekdays, I am available after 5PM but can also help out during the day with some notice to coordinate my schedule. I am free most weekends! I LOVE walking and walking my dog is one of my primary forms of exercise. I also enjoy taking him to the dog beach.
