Pet care experience
I am a wildlife biologist so animals are my whole world. I have had pets all my life and taken care of everything from dogs and cats to horses, small mammals such as ferrets, rats and rabbits, and reptiles such as turtles and bearded dragons. I used to work at an animal shelter doing animal care, volunteered at two other shelters and interned at a wolf sanctuary. I have administered a wide variety of medicines and am comfortable training and dealing with behavior issues. My schedule is currently pretty flexible so I can come over whenever you need. I have used Rover for my pets so I know how stressful finding a sitter can be. I am happy to send daily updates so you can enjoy your trip without worrying about your fur baby.

Alex is a devoted dog and cat mom, and has had all variety of pets including ferrets and even rats(!). She has volunteered at animal shelters and has cared for even bigger animals such as wolves and Lions! A typical day
I can take dogs on walks, play, and/ or train with them. I find a combination of physical and mental work is the best way to tire out high energy dogs. I am also happy just to give them some love and cuddles if that is what they need.
