I've been taking care of pets since I was young -- our own family pets, watching other's pets, and volunteering at a local shelter. Our senior pup passed away in April of 2022 and the house was empty without our tiny angel (pictured in my profile), which is how we came to Rover. We would love the opportunity to share our space with your dog(s), and shower them with all the love we have to give. I am used to administering medicine and being so gentle with senior dogs that may require extra help. Your dog will have free range of our house. I am able to crate if that's part of your routine/ training. We live in a quiet neighborhood with a fully fenced backyard. We love spending time outside in nice weather and taking as long a walk as your pup is accustomed to. We ask that your pup(s) be well socialized or at least comfortable in an environment with other dogs. As you'll see from the pics, we do book pups from multiple families, and while it's possible your pup will be here by themselves, it's very likely they'd be sharing the space with at least one other pup. Most of the pups enjoy each other's company, and some just want to find a cozy nook to sleep in. Either way is fine with us as long as the pups feel relaxed in that environment. For those that are new to me, my process is to do a phone call first so I can learn more about your pup's needs, likes, and routine. If it sounds like a good fit then we'll schedule an in person meet and greet so you and your pup can come see where they'll be staying and we can get to know one another. Ultimately, we want your pup (and you) to be comfortable in our space because we treat all the pups that come here like they're our own.
