Pet care experience
I have been pet sitting and taking care of animals since I was a teenager. I started out helping family and friends when they went out of town and then began volunteering at the local spay and neuter clinic. My job there was to help the animals in recovery who had just gotten out of surgery. I have always loved animals, especially cats and dogs.

Aleta stayed in our house for a few days and took care of our dog and cat. She did a great job. She was very responsive to anything we needed (like asking her to move our cars to avoid parking tickets) and sent updates a couple times a day about the pets. She left the house really clean. We would love to have her come stay again and recommend her without hesitation.
Wonderful experience with Aleta. She was always super prompt to respond during the booking process, came to my house beforehand to meet my critters, and left my home in great shape, even stripping the sheets she slept on and starting a load of wash (which I hadn’t asked her to do). She sent me periodic pictures of my pets so I knew everything was ok and she took care of the other things I needed (mail, garbage). I completely endorse her and will book again next time! Aleta is the best. We have entrusted our dog Max with her over the last three years and it is clear she has a genuine love for dogs. She has taken care of him like he is her own, providing regular updates and even sending photos to reassure us while we were away. When we return, Max is always happy, healthy, and clearly had a fantastic time. We couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter and will definitely continue to book with her again in the future. Highly recommend!
Since I’ve known Aleta, I’ve seen her walk, cuddle, and play with pets of all sorts. She is dependable, true, but she does more than just show up. She is kind. She is patient and present for animals wherever they are in that moment. Her empathy for animals makes her exactly the type of person I want around my animals when I have to be away. I highly recommend her for your pet-sitting and dog-walking needs.

I like to go over to the clients house and start by just getting to know the pet. If they are shy I try to hang out around the house for a little while until they get used to my presence and feel more comfortable around me. Once I have been established as a friend and not a threat I will take them on a walk to the park or play with any toys they have around. I enjoy walking so dogs that like long walks are a good fit for me.

Please let me know if your pet is shy with strangers so I know not to push them too much to quickly. I can be very patient when I need to be but it is helpful to know ahead of time so I don’t accidentally stress out the animal.
A typical day
I love to explore new areas and take long walks and it’s always fun to have a companion. I can take your dog to the park, or the beach or anywhere fun that’s within walking distance from the house.

I am unavailable in the evenings but mornings and afternoons any day of the week work great for me. My most convenient days would be Tuesday’s and Fridays but I am open to weekends and other days as well
