Hello! I am a local recent graduate from Stanford University (M.S. Earth Systems, 2016), and I am thrilled to offer my services to care for your furry family members! I have lived with and cared for dogs of all shapes and sizes my entire life: a Sheltie who lived to 15 years, a 6 month old Pitbull-Border Collie mix, and, most recently, an 8 year old special needs pug. I have taken care of special needs and older dogs, and I have experience in walk/leash/potty training for puppies. Given the flexibility of my work as a remote research consultant, I am available to stay at your house or drop in on your dogs as needed. I am lucky to be based from home and can spend most days watching over your pets, so long as I get my work done! Additionally, I am a runner (both road and trail). This means that for active and spritely dogs, I can provide long, strenuous exercise during the day, while for older and slower dogs, I can provide shorter periodic walks throughout the day to keep them moving. I have dog-sat for families in the Palo Alto and LA/MV area since high school (I graduated from LAHS in 2010). I am very familiar with local trails, landmarks, vet offices and pet stores. My local pet-sitting network has mostly consisted of word-of-mouth recommendations, but I wanted to take advantage of Rover's network to offer my services to a wider area! For the time being, I am very lucky to work from home and can provide exceptional, catered care for nearby pet owners.
