Hello! 👋🏻 We are a dog-loving, child-free couple based in Mountain View, and though we don’t have pets of our own, we thoroughly enjoy spending time with furry friends. It would be our pleasure to care for your beloved pup. With over 10 years of professional experience, we’ve cared for more than 50 pups. We have 20 repeat regulars and are particularly skilled in looking after both disabled and able-bodied small breeds (roughly 20 lbs and under), including puppy, adult, and seniors. We specialize in Poodles, Doodles, Daschunds, Shih Tzus, Yorkies, Maltese, Bichon Frise, Pomeranians, Chihuahuas, Min Pins, Westies, and Mixed Breeds. We are Pro Pet Sitter Certified (NAPPS); Dog Trainer Certified (GoodPup); Pet CPR & First Aid Certified (PetTech); and Insured (PSA, ID#: 78383).

Alessandra and Alex took such great care of our cavalier! We already had two trips booked before knowing we were getting our little boy. Our pup stayed with Alessandra and Alex at just 15 weeks old. He is not fully vaccinated yet, so you can imagine the stress we had about finding someone we could really trust to take special care of him. Alessandra and Alex gave us a peace of mind, sending detailed and reassuring updates both morning and nights of our Ollie boy with pictures. They made sure to take him on handheld walks since he is still waiting to finish his vaccines! Thank you again!!
Alessandra and Alex were exceptional in taking care of our fur baby. During the 3 week stay, we had a peace of mind knowing and seeing updates of our pet being happy and well taken care of. Since this was our first time being away from our fur baby for such a long time, we had to be very meticulous in choosing the right sitters. Alessandra and Alex impressed us with their deep knowledge in dog care and animal loving nature. Our dog isn’t the easiest pet to warm up instantly to strangers but with them, she felt safe and happy just like how she would with us. They have set the bar so high that it would be difficult to find any pet sitter that’s better.
Alessandra and Alex really went above and beyond for my little guy! My flight was extremely late last night and I ended up having to keep Theo longer with them than I’d previously communicated. They were so kind and flexible! They are always so sweet to Theo and take great care of him! When he’s with them I am completely at ease and can focus on my travel and work without worrying. 🩷🤗
Just picked up my little guy from a stay at Alessandra and Alex’s home and he was sad to leave! They are so organized in their updates and so very gentle and kind with my guy. They understand his quirks well and are very thoughtful about his care. He is very well taken care off with them. Such incredible peace of mind. Thank you!!
Alessandra and Alex take such diligent care of my little guy! He’s so comfy with them and they’re both so patient and gentle with him. They surround him with love and care and that gives me so much peace of mind. Theo has stayed with them several times now and he’s always so happy to be with them. 💜

Schedule
We are former dog parents of small breed pups. I (Alessandra) (37F) work from home and Alex (35M) also works from home. On weekends, we enjoy exploring nature trails, markets, cooking, reading, games, and quality time with loved ones. We accommodate specific requests, dietary needs, training, and exercise requirements. We require a Meet & Greet to ensure mutual fit before committing. For optimal care, please inform us of any known behaviors or conditions your pup may have. All new clients will receive a detailed Pup Profile to complete before their stay starts (via Google Docs).

Safety, trust & environment
Located in a secure, gated community in Mountain View, our home features a mini park (Evelyn Park), gated gardens, and professional pet grooming stations. Our cozy newly-built home is equipped with large windows for plenty of sunshine and climate-controlled central air conditioning and heating. The nearest emergency pet hospital is a 15-minute drive away. For the safety and personalized attention of your pup, we only accept one client at a time. We accept two dogs if they come from the same household. To ensure a secure environment, pups in our care are not introduced to other animals or children. Pups are never left alone, unsecured, for longer than 2 hours when necessary. Our household plants, outdoor space, and pup toys are pet-safe. We take pride in maintaining a clean, healthy, and welcoming environment for both ourselves and our furry visitors. During stays, pup’s feeding and drinking bowls are washed daily. Between stays we vacuum and mop floors, wash all bedding and toys, and sanitize bowls. Our cleaning products are natural and unscented.
A typical day
Our goal is to maintain your pup’s at-home routine as closely as possible. We provide daily updates at late morning and at late afternoon complete with quality photos and/or videos to keep you informed of your pup’s activities, while always prioritizing their comfort and tolerance for cameras. Depending on your pup’s age and ability, we love taking our furry friends to nearby parks and nature trails. For older or disabled pups, we take a more relaxed approach, opting for shorter neighborhood walks and plenty of cuddles.
