Pet care experience
I am a third year veterinary student and so have a lot of experience caring for various breeds of dogs and cats. I have had a variety of pets my whole life including fish, ferret, rabbits, hamsters, lizards, frogs, degus etc. I also have a German Shepherd who is 3 years old at my family’s house and I am often in charge of training, bathing, walking and feeding him. I also have a lot of experience from working in a dog boarding kennels on and off for 5 years.

Alessa did a fantastic job looking after my miniature dachshund Delilah! Photos and videos throughout the day and was very prompt at responding to messages. Delilah came back as one very happy (and sleepy) pup. Would 100% use again and highly recommend.
My German shepherd was very well taken care of with Alessa! He can home very happy!

I have a fenced garden and all my housemates are veterinary students who would love to help keep your dogs company! If I have a dog staying round I would be happy to stay in all day and walk them if needed.

I would love if you would let me know any medical information that is necessary about your dog. If I’m walking them it would be helpful to know any triggers or reactiveness your dog may have - for example if your dog needs to be kept away from other dogs or not. Any special quirks or fun interests/games they have I would love to know!
A typical day
I have a few toys in the house and treats - of course I’d make sure it’s okay to give them beforehand. There are some lovely fields near Park Barn and Manor Park Campus which I love to take dogs too which have large spaces to run around and forest paths. I love a cuddle - all furniture is allowed to have dogs on in my house. I’ll take them on as many walks as you specify.

Availability
I’m currently at University but usually only have lectures from 2-4 on some days (which are not compulsory) and so have plenty of time to take care of pets! I have all weekends off and usually Wednesdays I will have nothing on or only a 9-10. I usually go home for Easter and Christmas but other than that I’m almost always around!
