I am an extreme animal lover, and always have been. I've always had pets, dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, a frog, I even had a tarantula for 3 years till recently. But there is no better companion than a dog. I got my own dog when I was 5 years old, she was the sunshine of my world. This dog climbed and swung from trees!! Tell me that's not the best dog to have when your in elementary school. Well in 5th grade she died from Cancer. My parents then got my sisters and I another dog, Pecan. If you follow any of lost pet pages in Marion County, you probably know who Pecan is. I'm his Mama. But for who that dont know what I'm talking about, I lost my best friend of 10 years. He is still believed to be stolen. Our gorgeous cat who always came back disappeared a couple weeks before. Hmm.. We passed out over 500 flyers, went to big events with signs, had all the postal workers in Marion county looking for him on their routes; We even hired a private search and rescue service to come in with K9s, still no sign, no answers. When I say I love and still miss my little puppers... it brings tears to my eyes. For month I couldn't even touch another pet, much less a dog. He disappeared Sep 20th, 2018 when I was 8 months pregnant, with my beautiful baby girl. I had people telling me that it was good that someone stole my dog, "because I would forget about him when the baby got here." Or people telling me because he got out I didn't deserve a pet. .... First of all if your one of people please dont ask me to watch your dog. And second, these people were judging on something they didn't have a full story on. I was at work, and a guest had left the door cracked, and Pecan was/is such an explorer. I about went into labor when I heard the news. It was days before my baby shower and everyone had flown in to be there; and it was still almost cancelled because I couldn't control myself emotionally. With all that being said I'm not ready my own dog yet, but I love dogs. This would be a great way to warming up to loving dogs again. I'm just not ready to full force love something that might about kill me again. This service would also be awesome for our 4 month old, so she can build the love and trust of dogs, just like I had growing up. So please only kid friendly dogs. Even though I dont have a fenced yard, I WILL COMPLETELY make SURE that your loved one is in AMAZING CARE. Because I KNOW how it feels to lose our best friend. They are free to roam wherever in the house, including the couch; yes, where a dog belongs. I have a large back porch/laundry room, and an extra screened old car port where they would be able to play. All the screen doors lock and stay locked. I am a very hard worker, and I love everything under the sun. I'm 21, but I was parentified at a young age, I went to Belleview High, where I was in the AICE program.
