Pet care experience
Growing up in a home of cats and dogs, I have lots of experience to offer when taking care of your pet(s)! Since moving out to Hamilton in 2017, I unfortunately had to leave my dog behind, so I've got a lot of love to share to make up for that!! I have experience taking care of friends' pets for as long as 7 days, making sure to have them feel as cared for and loved as possible. I'm used to high energy dogs as my schnauzer-poodle mix back home still acts like an 9-year-old puppy, and as an active person, I guarantee I'll give your pet plenty of exercise. Looking forward to meeting your pet(s)!!

Alena was so sweet and friendly that I instantly felt comfortable having her in my home and taking care of my cat, Tuesday. Alena was an excellent communicator, sent lots of nice photos and was really easygoing and flexible with the schedule. Plus, my cat was super chill when I arrived home, and I felt she was well taken care of by Alena. Would absolutely book again!

Back in my hometown I lived in the country, so our pets would take advantage of the large outdoor property! My dog absolutely loves spending time outside while we do garden work and will never turn down playing some hardcore fetch. My cats have always been outdoor, but during the winter they would turn into indoor cats-- it gets pretty cold in Winnipeg!

Give me a heads up if your dog has any special needs or if you have any requests for when your dog is under my care! It would also be great to know if they are high energy, leash trained, and whether they get along well with other dogs.
A typical day
Since I live so close to Gage park I will definitely take your dog(s) around there to get some exercise and exposure to some new smells! I will walk and jog with them to get their heart rate up, and if they're trained to fetch I'd be happy to do that with them! They will get lots of pets and snuggles along the way :)

Availability
I am currently a job that can be pretty flexible, so I have time available during the day to take care of your pet(s). Plus, I love to get my daily cardio exercise in everyday, and having a fur buddy to do that with would be that much more fun!
