Pet care experience
Ever since I was a little girl I have always had a strong pull to animals. When I was younger, I had a family dog that had a lot of health issues that I loved caring for. I never wanted to leave his side. I currently have a cat I am in love with that I have raised since he was 2 months old. Animals mean so much to me and I cannot imagine my life without them. Besides caring for my own pets, I am constantly wanting to help out my friends and family in any way I can with caring for their furry family members. I know how important it is to find care and especially decent care for your animals. I hope to provide assistance for others when it is needed.

Took great care of my kitties!! She took lots of pictures everyday which I loved looking at and was great at communicating with me
Alena watched our two kitty cats for a weekend. She sent multiple pictures and updates. I could tell she really cared for our babies ❤️ I’ll be using her services every time now

When I am entering a clients home, I understand that it is the animals safe space and their territory. I would enter as calmly as I can to read the situation and also let them know they can trust me.

Please let me know if your pet needs any special care or attention ahead of time. I have experience giving medication to both dogs and cats. That being said, I know every animal is different and I would need need a briefing before anything like that is administered.
A typical day
My typical day with a dog or cat would be making sure that they are not bored. Seeing a bored animal makes me sad because I know they need stimulation to feed their natural instincts. My favorite thing to do is show animals new things if they are interested such as showing a cat a higher area in the house they’ve never seen or bringing a dog to a new park to explore.

Availability
Having my own cat, I am familiar with the daily routine of meals, playtime, and grooming. Having my own cat that also acts like a dog adds in outdoor walking time to my schedule. I am more free on the weekends so I am happy to help others when they might not have as much time as I do.
