I have been caring for dogs and cats my whole life! Whatever you need, you’re in the right place with me! I am a very reliable and trustworthy pet owner, and I will care for your pet like they are my own. I have 3 cats that I cherish with my whole heart, and my dog of 15 years just passed away in 2021. She is dearly missed! I have a few years experience administering medication to pets, as well as senior dog experience as I helped take care of my Lab for the last 2 years of her life. Let me make friends with your fur babies and help YOU feel comfortable while you are away from home!😊 P.S.- I have a pretty good habit of making friends with the timid and skittish babies too! All animals deserve to feel safe and loved and that can come with time but I’m willing to do all that I can to create that bond with your pet! I have an hourly rate of $18 an hour for constant care during the day, and a 3 day cancellation policy implied!

Alena was wonderful watching our mini pack of animals. She was great with my sick senior cat who is on an inhaler for his asthma. The frequent picture updates really gave me peace of mind knowing my animals were well taken care of. I wouldn't hesitate to ask her to watch them again.

I want you to feel more than comfortable with me taking care of your pet(s) in your home! I send LOTS of pictures and updates and never hesitate to ask questions to remain consistent with pet care! I will always treat your home like it is my own and keep it safe and clean! I am not currently offering boarding, but in the future when I am able to, if your animals are comfortable with cats, mine are very friendly and they usually just keep to themselves. I do not worry about them attacking your pet. I will also keep them in the other room if that is a problem! I live in a gated complex so it is safe and offers areas for dog walking and playing! We can always talk out the details privately as well!

If your pet has any special needs or needs medications, please let me know! I have dealt with various illnesses with animals in the past and have had to administer medicine so I do pretty well at giving/applying medicine! I have pilled cats and dogs, administered eye drops to cats and dogs, applied topical cream to both as well, and have given medication via syringe. I have also given many shots of insulin to a cat who was diabetic! It’s all about making the animal comfortable first so the medication process is smooth and quick! I am also looking into taking a dog/cat first aid and CPR course so I am certified in that to ease your mind even more! I am CPR certified in general, but our furry friends are built a little differently!
A typical day
Whether you have a dog or a cat, we can figure out activities that best suit your pet! I love to play and allow your pet to get more comfortable with me by having fun! I believe that play stimulates not only your pets brain, but my brain with the best boost of serotonin!! I am new to the area but I am more then willing to find fun outdoor/indoor to meet your pets needs!! I love to go for walks and be outside as well!

Availability
I currently work as a server so my week to week schedule changes. Luckily I am very good at communicating that, and we can always work something out daily whether I work the morning or night shift! If a booking is made 3+ weeks in advance, I can also request off work if it is needed for special needs/senior dog and cat bookings. With that being said, I can only usually take off 2-3 days at a time!
