Pet care experience
Fresh veterinarian planning on working with dogs, cats and small exotic pets. I've previously worked at a veterinary hospital as a veterinary assistant for a little over 2 years, so I'm comfortable with all sorts of species, breeds and medical needs. I've got a 6-year old friendly Shiba Inu and a 3 year old Shiba Inu of my own that I love more than anything. I'd love to get to know your pet and become close to them, as well. There's nothing better than the human-animal bond. :-) I can walk your pet, pill your pet, feed your pet, brush your pet, and anything else that comes to mind. I'm also familiar with positive reinforcement training, so if you're working on anything, I'm happy to reinforce that while I walk or feed your pet.

Alejandra was an excellent sitter for Django. She came twice a day to feed him and checkin on him. She was dependable and Django warmed up to her right away. She provided thorough updates and was easy to reach. She responded to messages right away. It gave me peace of mind to leave town and know our cat was in capable and caring hands.
Alejandra takes such great care of our kitty, Daisy! She's the best!
Alejandra is an extremely responsible pet owner herself and I am fully confident she would just as much care, if not more, with other people's animals as she does her own. She is always taking her dog on walks, to the beach, to the dog park, etc. As a prospective vet and current veterinary assistant she definitely knows more than the typical dog sitter when it comes to medicine, breed-specific needs, and general animal care. She would make a great sitter for anyone that wants their furry family members well taken care of!

A typical day
I don't get wild with fun activities. I'd be happy just going on routine walks or the dog park with the pups. Indoor play for cats or puzzle games for dogs are fun, as well.

Most weekends and evenings are easily available for any pet needs since I have a consistent work schedule. Most of my nights are reserved for my pups, and I'd be happy to do the same with yours.
