Ever since I could remember, my life has been entwined with animals. I've ridden horses since I could walk and my family has always owned Labradors and Jack Russells and cats and birds and tons of other miscellaneous friends! My first dog that was my full responsibility to train and care for was a beautiful, black lab, Rocky. I was 7 years old and he was my best friend. I took him for walks and bathed him and taught him silly tricks! Being around horses also introduces you many different types of dogs, of all different shapes, and sizes, and temperaments. I love all animals and I find a certain special connection that cannot be otherwise cannot be replaced in any other area of life.
