I volunteered at HOPE Humane Society ( my local animal shelter that is no longer open) for 2 and a half years. I worked there for a year after I was old enough to become a paid employee. I was very involved with the shelter, I helped with special events, adoptions, intakes, foster care, the volunteer program, transports, and I even worked in the clinic for a bit. During High School I worked at the animal shelter, dog sat for a couple of my fellow employees (where I would just do drop-ins and walks a couple times a day) and even dog sat my psychology teacher’s dogs ( I stayed with them in his house for a little bit over a week). I now work full time at a veterinary clinic, where I have been for about 5 months. Although there are some days where I will work from 7:15 am - 9:00 pm, it won’t get in the way of me taking care of your beloved fur babies. I am willing to make visits before work, during my lunch and when I get off. I have 3 dogs, 1 kitten, and a water dragon of my own that love to death. They are my babies and I plan to treat your fur babies the same.
