Pet care experience
Hello! I have been dogsitting since I was 16. I have worked as a veterinary assistant and have experience giving medication and insulin shots to animals. I am currently a zoology student and intern, so I work with all types of animals big and small. My heart has always belonged to cats and dogs though! I have a cat currently and grew up with a Pitbull and Rottweiler. I would love nothing more than to make you and your pets feel comfortable and cared for.

I have known Alee for quite a few years now. She started as a baby sitter for my 3 children and as they have grown she has also become my pet sitter whenever we leave town. I have always taken special care to ensure my own pets are happy and healthy. This means play time, walks, treats, consistent feeding times, and keeping everything clean/tidy. Being involved in Zoology as well as Veterinary environments has given me the experience and compassion to ensure I do the same for any and all animals :)
Information Alee M. would like to know about your pet
It’s always good to know if there are any health concerns or overall special medical needs ahead of time. Otherwise I like to know how your pet does on walks (escape artists, pulling, high energy, or needs a slow pace) to make sure I have this in mind without any surprises! Other than that just anything you think might be important.
A typical day
I love to give animals a positive experience while I watch them. This includes tug of war, fetch, cuddles, and mentally stimulating games. When it comes to walks I always love a good trail but if that isn’t possible I like to walk them anywhere that is secure and away from very busy roads. Depending on the animals activity level I may take them on a jog or a nice light walk! I always make sure to carry bags to pick up any waste.

I am a zoology intern and student but I’ve made sure my availability allows me time for up to 3 drop ins a day for 30 mins-60 mins. Or I also love to do 30-60 minute walks (this can be on a reoccurring basis.) please reach out to me about scheduling as I may be able to make accommodations for you.
