Professional pet groomer here! My name is Alecia! I strive to give your fur baby the best experience possible while in my care because our pets are our family! I have tons of general health knowledge to aid in your pets care. I am a certified dog groomer so if your pet needs a pawdicure I’m your girl! I have some experience handling/grooming cats as well. If your pet needs a bath, I provide more than just your basic tubby! I can tailor to your pets needs by assessing their skin and coat condition, taking special notice of any possible health or skin issues. Pawdicures (nails) are offered as complimentary service if you choose to have them bathed. If you book your beloved family member with me, you won’t be disappointed! I can also provide transportation to your babies for their out-of-home needs! Whether it’s to the vet, the groomer, or the dog park for some play time! Just let me know! :) I have been been caring for and rescuing animals for over 16 years. During that time I’ve worked with many rescues and local organizations to provide loving care to foster, rehabilitate, and adopt out hundreds of many cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, etc. I have experience in providing care for large animals, including horses, all the way down to very small animals, seniors, babies and everything in between including some reptiles, hermit crabs, rabbits, small rodents, etc. I started working on a horse farm when I was 16 as a trail guide and studied at The College of Central Florida for equine business so I have plenty of knowledge in the equine world as well! My first trainer was a Hunter but what really interested me was the Western style of riding. I have competed in Hunters and Western Pleasure and rode for a man that I worked for who taught me a little bit about the Reining world. My first horse was a Morgan mustang that I used solely for trail riding, my second horse was a rescue who was also only used for light trail riding as after I brought him home discovered he had Navicular. My third horse was my first and only barrel horse, Sinbad. A beautiful Appendix Buckskin gelding. I worked on a horse/dog rescue located in ocala and lived on the property taking care 20+ horses and 30+ dogs/puppies. I handled adoptions and showings as well as the dirty work of cleaning up their pens! I didn’t mind if course, as it’s not really work when your doing what you love! I’ve worked as a trail guide, a groom/hotwalker for two Thoroughbred Farms, and as a barn manager at a couple of local barns here and in South Florida. I also have some experience in handling small reptiles :) so if your scaly friend needs some care too, it would be my pleasure!
