Pet care experience
I have had dogs since I was a little kid and grew up learning how to be responsible for my dogs and cats. I began work as a veterinary receptionist in 2014 after years of caring for family pets while they were away on vacations. I also started veterinary technician training and schooling. I spent about 6 years in the field before leaving to begin my own business of equine and canine massage. I am still in school for this but am learning energy healing for humans and pets alike.

Alecia is excellent with all animals, especially dogs. She treats all animals as I would want someone to treat my own pet: with respect, kindness, understanding, and never-ending patience. It is clear in watching her interact with her own dog that she values him as more than just a pet; he's family. I am certain that any dog she has the opportunity to be a caregiver for will be treated like her own and given the utmost quality and care.
Alecia is very good with animals. My weimaraner loves her and took to her immediately. Alecia is caring and friendly and will take direction or initiative with your fur babies.
Alecia is the first person I think of whenever I need someone to watch or care for my animals, and she never fails to do an amazing job. My pets love her and they know she loves them.

I will not be able to house your pets at my apartment currently. I will be able to walk and let them out while you are away or as needed. My home is a 3 bedroom apartment that I share with my 2 boys and husband and our 3 cats and 1 dog. We do have a good sized yard, however it is not fenced and close to a main road. My dog is temperamental. He typically loves other dogs, but he can be weird about them in his home.

I like to know about likes and dislikes before walking or visiting your dog. Do they have any fears? (Like dark clothing, hats, ect..) What are their favorite toys or things to do? I like to.be prepared and want your dog to feel at ease while you are away.
A typical day
I prefer walking through wooded areas, however, walks can always be done close to your home. If your dog has a favorite place they like to go then I'd love to take them there. I also love playing fetch, or, my dog has taught me games in which I hide things for him to find. Does your dog like to do that? I would love to learn your dog's favorites.

Availability
I work at a horse barn on Tuesdays and thursdays currently, I do schooling in the evenings. I am pretty flexible with time other than on my barn days.
