Pet care experience
Hello! I have always loved caring for my young and old pets, as well as pets of friends & family. I have a degree in Biology, and am quick to learn a family's pet care procedures and adapt to your pet's routine. I work from home full-time, so I can be home with your pet to play, walk, and take care of their needs. Previous clients describe me as flexible and reliable, as well as an excellent communicator (I am always happy to send you photos of your pets!) I hope to care for your pet just like you would!

We were so impressed with Alecia and the care she provided for our critters. Quite honestly it was even better than I could have hoped for. One of our dogs has multiple health problems, mental and physical, and she was able to handle it all. The dog has multiple medications at multiple times of day, and is not easy to handle. Alecia was so capable, responsible, and loving. In addition, she left our home in perfect condition. Everything in its place and even stripped her bed and had washed all her linens. She is absolutely wonderful!!!
We have a rescue dog that we have only had for 3 months. She is a very fussy eater and has a few 'quirks'. Alecia took such good care of her! She left our house spotless and even striped the bed, put the sheets in the wash, took out the trash, and turned on the dishwasher. Thank you Alecia.
Alecia took great care of our 2 Golden Retrievers. She communicated with us daily and sent pictures, which is always appreciated! Our dogs were very content when we came home and the house looked wonderful 😊 We will use Alecia again and I would recommend her!

I know it can be very stressful for a pet when their beloved human leaves, so I will provide them with their optimal level of attention and activity. I am keen at observing animal behavior, and would closely monitor for any signs of distress, illness, or injury at all times.

-What does your pet love to do with you? (Belly rubs, tug toy, etc) -What are their nervous habits/behaviors? (Licking their paws, whining, etc) -What are their "naughty" habits that I should look out for? (Nosing in the garbage, eating leaves outside, chewing on shoes, etc) -Has your pet been watched by a sitter before? What do you wish they'd have done differently? -Also: Medicines, allergies, schedule/potty breaks, foods
A typical day
Walks, jogs, runs, practice any commands they know, tug, fetch, hide-and-seek around the house, are just a few examples! A favorite walk route of mine is to the Laguna Niguel Regional Park, where dogs can explore the park paths, lawns, and small creeks on leash. With kitties, anything that peaks their interest like jumping for toys, swatting and catching string toys, fetch with scrunchies, etc!

Availability
I work from home full-time, so I have great schedule availability and flexibility to be home with your pet to play, walk, and take care of their needs while house-sitting. With house sitting, I include one 30-min walk per day per dog. If you anticipate your dog will need more walk time than this, let's chat and figure out a plan!
