Pet care experience
There have always been three or more dogs in my house since I was born. I have house sat before and I throughly enjoyed working with new animals. I treat new animals with respect and I don't force meetings, I wait for them to come to me. The energy that you put out towards a dog can really affect how they act towards you, which is why trust is important for the dog and myself.

Roxie loves Alden, and so do we! The poor guy had just come down with strep throat the morning we were leaving town. He powered through, and took great care of our doggie. I don't know what we would have done and I was so impressed with his commitment. We were very comfortable leaving our dog (oh, and BTW, our cat AND fish) in his hands. He was a trooper and we would hire him again in a heartbeat.
Alden has a way with dogs! We have three rescue dogs, all of whom are rather maladjusted. They are skittish with strangers, but they took to Alden right away. We have used Alden as a dog/house sitter several times now and he has proven himself to be one hundred percent reliable. It's such a good feeling to be able to go on vacation with absolutely no worries!! I recommend Alden to anyone who has trouble leaving their pets behind ( we have a cat who is also quite fond of Alden!) He does a great Elizabeth H.

A typical day
We'll go on as many walks as the dog is up for. Play time inside and out is always good fun. If the dog likes to cuddle and nap on a lap, I am definitely down with that.
