About us: We are a married couple that loves dogs. We both believe that dogs make our life better in so many ways that the least we can do is to give them the proper care and love they deserve. We both have a lot of flexibility on our schedule which allows us to dedicate all our attention to your pet. Mary has had pets all her life, and she has learned a lot specifically about golden retrievers' care. Alberto is a vet student and he basically grew up in his uncle's vet clinic, so dealing with animals is second nature for him. Studying canine behavior is his life's passion. How this works: We'd like to have a 30 minute conversation with the owner before, so we can get to know each other. It's important for you to feel comfortable with the person who'd be caring for your pet in your absence, and is important for us to know every detail about your dog and your relationship so we can emulate as good as we can your interactions. We believe this to be really important for your dog's comfort. We want to understand your dog's needs. We live in a large two-bedroom apartment. We try to meditate every day to keep a sense of calm in our household, which is important for the wellbeing of dogs since they are really sensitive to our emotions. Our neighborhood is quiet, so there are never any high-pitched or loud noises for your dog to worry about. We live close to Cheeseman Park so if walking in the park is something that your dog is interested in, we can make it happen! We believe that dogs are always happier when in a pack. As we have space, we can take care of up to 4 dogs at a time. Services offered: - Walks (suited to breed, energy level, and other specific needs of your dog) - Runs (If your dog has a lot of energy or needs to lose weight, this is an option for you) - Live streaming video, recorded, or pictures as often as you want. This way you can see what your best friend is doing. (This applies to all of the services) - Boarding - Massages (Different from normal cuddling. With this approach your dog will feel more relaxed. It's really good for improving blood flow, and overall health. It depends on your dog's breed, energy level, and special conditions) - Sitting - Behavioral assessment (Alberto is also a dog trainer, so I can help with any concerns you may have regarding misbehavior if you are interested) - Basic commands training
