Spent my whole life with big dogs!
Pet care experience
He/Him I grew up in the country and there was always at least two dogs in the house, sometimes three. I was born into a family with dogs always around and spent my whole life growing up with them, helping whenever necessary which was most often taking them on walks. I enjoy taking walks myself so going out with a dog is hardly a chore! I have the most experience with large dogs, as that’s what I grew up with, but I will happily spend time with any dog. The breeds of dogs I took care of growing up include: Australian Shepherd, mutt, Newfoundland, Siberian Husky, Golden Retriever, and most recently a Saint Berdoodle (heavy on the Saint Bernard side).

I will always put your pet’s safety first. I know how nerve-wracking it can be to entrust your pet to someone else, especially a stranger, but I will do everything in my power to keep your dog as safe as possible. If, for any reason, your dog may need to briefly stay with me, I have a large apartment with plenty of floor space for temporary stays and no other animals present.

I’d like to know as much as I can about your dog ahead of time. If there is any and all information you find pertinent, like special needs, special requests, places where we should and shouldn’t go, any behavioral notes, please let me know! I want to provide the best, safest experience possible.
A typical day
For walks, we’ll go all around the Pearl District where I live. I don’t live far at all from the Northwest Park Blocks if your dog needs a place to run a little more freely and otherwise, we’ll see plenty of sights from place to place over the Pearl if we aren’t walking in your neighborhood instead! When it comes to watching dogs, I’m pretty adaptable and can engage in most activities with them while reeling in behavior that might get a little too wild if it occurs.

Availability
This is my part-time job for the summer! I am a full-time student at PNCA outside of these summer months, but with school coming back soon, my availability will sadly be very restricted. I cannot fulfill being a full-time walker on a daily basis, but if you need someone for just one time or once or twice a week, I’m here for you! I apologize for the slash to my availability. School is very demanding and I want to ensure I’m not biting off more than I can chew when it comes to Rover contracts and making promises I cannot keep.
