Pet care experience
Pets have always been a passion of mine. I've spent most of my life around pets and have been trusted by family, friends, and neighbors to house/pet sit, walk their dogs, and ensure that their animals are well cared for. On top of that, I have had pets of my own throughout my life. I currently have a dog of my own that I have raised since he was a puppy, so I have experience in training and guiding young dogs. Overall, I have cared for all kinds of breeds of all ages and am confident that regardless of your dogs breed, age, or behavior, we can grow to get along. I currently am a full time student at The College of Southern Idaho but am taking a majority of online classes. With my current class schedule, I have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies and look forward to working with them, as well as you, to ensure that your pet is well looked after. A majority of my services involve being a guest in your home. Because of this, I like to talk about expectations and guidelines prior to entering your home. One of my top priorities next to caring for your pet is making sure that you are comfortable with me doing so. I like to establish strong and open communication with the people of the pets I care for from the get go.

Alayna house sit for us over Labor Day weekend and took excellent care of our two German Shepherds! We got updates and photos during our vacation. It was so nice having peace of mind that our dogs were comfortable at home and not in a loud boarding facility. We will definitely use her as often as we can. Thanks so much Alayna!
Alayna is an amazing pet sitter she has watched my animals many times, she has also helped me with rescue's! she has helped me transport and also fostered for us!! She has a deep love for animals! She is very responsible and would be an amazing asset to your company!
I have had Alayna watch my dogs before. She stayed at my house and stayed for a few days to doggy sit my dogs. I had a large dog and 2 small dogs at the time. She was wonderful with my pets. Alayna is a loving and patient person, she loves dogs. I would never hesitate to ask her again to take care of my dogs.
Alayna is lovely! So sweet and kind, a great lover of animals. She took care of my anxious, ornery, old, whiny dachshund Paprika over a long weekend. She was easy to work with coordinating drop-off and pick up times. Rika is pretty anxious and does not like to be away from me, but Alayna was so patient with her and made Rika feel comfortable. I highly recommend Alayna for any petcare needs you have!

As the services I provide are outside of my home, I like to know the routines and rules that you have in your home for your pet. I additionally ensure that I have a stable leash and ensure that walks and exercise is done in a well-known and pet friendly area. Any important safety concerns an owner may have, I want to address each concern.
Information Alayna R. would like to know about your pet
For me it is important to know what routines you and your pet have already established and what things you are trying to work on. I also think it is important to know the little behavioral quirks that your pet may exhibit that I may need to watch for. (ie: chase cars/squirrels/bikes/people/etc. or nipping/biting, pulling, ect.) It is also important for me to know what you, as the owner, thinks is important. Having open communication between me and the owner is key.
A typical day
Providing a dog with optimal physical exercise is important, but it is equally important for your dog to feel stimulated mentally as well. Training dogs to do new things is one of my favorite activities. I often times enjoy taking puppers to the college campus and throw the ball, play "find the toy/treat", and work on a strong routine for your pet to feel comfortable while still receiving the stimulation they need.

I currently am a student attending College of Southern Idaho as a fully online student and I work from home with my other job! This gives me full availability to be there for your dogs!
