*WILL ONLY BE IN THE AREA UNTIL MAY 10* Along with my family's 4-year-old wheaten terrier-poodle, I have experience taking care of dogs from working in a boarding kennel for over two years. My experience includes feeding, exercising, medicating, bathing, and cleaning up after dogs of all breeds and ages (from newborn to senior). I have a genuine love for animals, especially dogs, that makes taking care of them incredibly fun and fulfilling.

Alayna was great! She took great care of my dog while I was away!
Great experience! She arrived earlier than anticipated, which was wonderful for us. Our pup seemed happy and well cared for while we were away for about 5 hours. We would definitely use her again if she was staying in the area.
Alayna was very tentative to our instructions on the care of all of our animals and home. She was very clean while staying in our home, and it was left as if she wasn’t there. The animals were played out when we arrived home which told me that they enjoyed their visit. I would recommend Alayna to anyone needing a home/pet sitter.

I am not be available to board in my home; however, I will be available to housesit according to my schedule. I will feed, medicate, and exercise the dog(s) as per the instructions of the owner. I am comfortable with crating at night or having the dog(s) sleep with me in order to keep their routines the same. If specified by the owner, I am experienced with bathing dogs as well.

Before being left with a dog, it's important for me to know medical and temperamental information about him/her. This includes any daily medication, a history of medical problems (i.e. seizures), how the dog reacts to new people/other dogs, if the dog responds well off-leash, and if they are food or toy aggressive/defensive.
A typical day
I like to understand what the dog enjoys the most and go from there. Playing fetch in the backyard or park, meeting new people, going on long walks, and wrestling with toys are just a few examples of ways I can entertain them and keep them active.

Availability
I am a junior college student home in the area until the end of the semester (mid-May). I am free outside of my school schedule on weekdays for walking or house visits. On weekends, I am available for housesitting.
