I've taken care of family dogs (Newfoundlands) since I was 12 and love pets of all kinds. I have experience training puppies, giving baths, walking challenging dogs, and caring for elderly pups.

I try to let the animals get used to me and my presence, and I like to engage with them in play to show them I am their new friend! I like to know any challenges that may arise with your dog, especially as it concerns walking and obedience around the house. Are they more on the stubborn side? Do they need consistent reinforcement or redirection with certain activities? What are some of their routines? These are all helpful pieces of info to help me care for your pet as best as I can!
A typical day
I love taking dogs out on walks or just playing with them in your back yard. Having grown up with big dogs, I'm used to rough-housing and playing fetch to no end and can definitely engage however you need to tire out your furry friend. Given time and accessibility, I can also bring your pup to a dog park if they need that extra social stimulation!

Availability
Starting in September, I will be working a 100% in-person job which will require me to be away from the house for 8 hours per day. I can give morning walks and come right home to let them out after work, but I will not be able to let them out during the day. Nonetheless, when I am home, I will be fully pet-focused and give them as much exercise and play time as they need!
