I am a dog groomer looking to open our home to watching other people's dogs. We have 2 standard poodles who love other dogs and will be with your dog(s) all day to play and rest. I own and operate Alayna's Pampered Pets and I work from home, so I'm almost always home. I'm also fully licensed and insured for pet care and grooming. We prefer dogs to sleep in a kennel, provided by you, but not required. I have 2 cats who are young and don't mind dogs. My kids also love dogs. I know animal safety and handling from my years experience as a groomer. I always offer grooming as an option during your stay so they can go home nice and clean. Miska had a better time staying with Alayna and her pups then she does with me! My biggest fear was she wouldn’t want to come home! Alayna kept me informed about any issue that may have come up, sent a great photo and took excellent care of her. I’ll be using her again not just for extended leaves, but also if I need a day stay.
I’ve used rover a few times, and never with results this amazing! Alayna is fantastic! She’s incredibly flexible, has extremely fast replies, and you can really tell how caring she is! With other sitters I’m always asking for pictures and am nervous the entire time. When I leave my boy with Alayna I can fully relax and have absolutely no worries about his care. I would only find another sitter if I was forced to (and maybe not even then!). She will continue to be my number one choice!
Alayna and family took care of our dog Dutchess for a little under a week while we were out of state at a conference. It was a relief to know our dog was well taken care of. The only thing I noticed was that our dog did not get a bath while in her care, though it says in the description that one is included in the stay. Of course, we didn't pay extra for a grooming, so I really have no room to complain :)
