Pet care experience
I have been volunteering and working with animal shelters and animal rescues my entire life since my mom loved to do so. I have a good amount of knowledge with different types of pet personalities which includes dogs and cats. I feel confident in myself taking care of animals and over all pets because I take my time to get to know them, give them time to get comfortable around me and just giving them space is the best course of action when wanting to make them feel comfortable in a space. I have taken care of kittens/puppies (which include bottle feeding), adults and senior dogs/cats.

Alanis was great! When she met Swirly, Swirly was a bit anxious and crazy. Alanis took it in stride and was undeterred. She was able to handle Swirly swimmingly well, took her on hikes, and sent cute pictures. I would definitely recommend!
Alanis is the best animal caretaker I have ever known. She is a loving persons who cares for animals deeply I would trust no one more with an animal than her.
Alanis is first and foremost a pet owner herself. She shows so much love and care for the multitude of pets in her home, each receiving the same love and affection as any other no matter the type. I currently live in a small apartment but I can accommodate pets depending on the situation. I am very much able to go on long walks and potty breaks when necessary.

I will first get to know the pet and go from there but it can go from just having a chill walk around the neighborhood to going on a hike on a trail.

Availability
I am currently working part time at the Jackson Airport as a ticket agent for one of the airlines. I do live within 10min of work with that said I have the flexibility of doing various potty breaks and walks through the day without problem and without big gaps in between.
