I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I memorized all of the dog names in my community because I'd go up to their owners and ask to pet or walk them whenever I could. I've had pet dogs for pretty much my whole life. I had three dogs at one point, but now I'm down to one dog and a cat.

I give dogs what they need and when they need it as much as I can. I give lots of pets and verbal affirmations to dogs. I let them snuggle with me when they want or have their own space when they need. On walks, I do my best to get the dog to walk beside me. I know that for dogs, it's more about my energy and scent than it is about what I'm saying to them.

Availability
I'm pretty flexible with my schedule. I was a teacher for 11 years but I have stepped away from that to focus on a side business with my husband. Most of what we do is in the evenings, so during the day is pretty opened for me.
