Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover my entire life and dogs always put a huge smile to my face! I grew up having 1-3 dogs in my home and have taken care of family friends dogs while they were away. I have a miniature long haired dachsund that is a big sweetie!

Alana was great with Olive! She provided lots of updates and assured me she was well taken care of. She was very flexible with pick up/drop off time and was even nice enough to accept Olive the day before as a booking. Will definitely use Alana as a sitter again!

Alana was a great dog sitter! I would trust her any time to watch my pup or any pet. She went above and beyond to make sure my 4 month old puppy was taken care of and sent me updates throughout the day to keep me in the loop. Bonus that she even took some cute Polaroid pics too and sent them home with me. She also booked with me last minute and saved my week from extra stress. I’d recommend anyone book Alana!

I own my 1-bedroom condo and my building is very pet friendly! There are always happy tails wagging around. I also have space for a crate and/or dog bed to make them feel as comfortable as possible. I am quick to responding to messages and love taking pictures! If you ever want to see how your furry friend is doing I would be glad to send updates, pictures or videos. Whether your dog likes to be out and about, cuddle for hours or just have a nice place to stay, my home is their home!

A typical day
I love to be out and about and love it even more when the weather is nice! Walks around the neighborhood, by the lake or through the park are all part of my typical routine. I also like hanging out by the lake or at small cafes (ones that are dog friendly are even more fun). Getting your dog the exercise it needs or bringing them along with me to a cafe one day if I am working my usual remote day, but just out of the condo, are all things that I can do! My miniature dachshund is with me now and I take him everywhere I can!

I work from home M-F and have time to be able to watch, love, play and take care of your pup on the kind of routine that works for them! I like to get a walk in every day and am also very close to the lake and find myself there often throughout the week. Your dog would get lots of exercise and even some lake views! Who doesn't love a walk by the lake?! I also like to take walks with friends, some of them have dogs, so if your pup is a social butterfly and gets along with other dogs I am happy to ask my friends to bring along a pal for a walk and playdate!
