Hi my name is Alana and I can’t wait to meet your fur baby! I have been taking care of my own personal pets since I was about 5 years old. I have been watching other people’s pets (personally and briefly professionally) since I was about 13, so I have 12 years of experience. I offer dogs walks and drop in visits where I can stop by multiple times a day. I offer in house sitting on a case by case basis. *I can not offer long term daily walks or long term daily house visits at this time because of work. I can gladly do it periodically, on scheduled days (like certain days of the week) or if you are away for a set period of time*. I have experience with dog handling, grooming, basic obedience and dog agility. I have 3 dogs and 4 cats at my family’s home, and I have 1 orange cat named Cheddar of my own, who’s my little baby. If you have other animals in the home besides dogs, that is not an issue. I’d actually love to watch your cat too! I can even care for farm animals such as goats at an additional cost. Age, size and breed are not an issue as I have watched a wide variety. I just ask that they are friendly enough with me and are at least semi-house trained! I’ll love your fur baby like it’s my own and send lots of pictures!

I would and have recommended Alana to be a pet sitter! She is reliable, caring, flexible, and trustworthy. She was willing to come morning and night to feed my cats that have separate diets. The best part about Alana, however, is that she truly loves animals and will give your pet the love and attention that they need while you are away.
When we had to leave for vacation for several weeks, Alana took wonderful care of our two dachshund dogs. She made sure they had plenty of exercise, food and water. She was quick to contact us with any concerns or questions she had and took care of everything. I highly recommend Alana and will definitely use her services again.
I would highly recommend Alana to dog sit! She stayed at our house when we were on vacation. She was very attentive to our beloved dog Manny; sending us pictures and updates throughout the week! Manny required some extra attention being older and honory but Alana showed him compassion and love in our absence. We lined her up for another week of sitting but unfortunately Manny passed before that time...

I do not care for pets in my own home for the safety and well being of my cat, as well as the small size of my living space. I am happy to go to your home to watch your fur babies! I treat them like my own, follow your guidelines and keep your house the way I find it. I follow covid guidelines to keep everyone safe. Just know, if you need an overnight sitter, I will have to leave to go to work and care for my own pet.

When taking care of your dog, I like to know what veterinarian you use and a trusted neighbor/friend to call in case of an emergency, if he/she has any allergies, what treats they can have, if they have any reactivity on leash and their daily routine. I do not have any breed preference, but house trained and friendly are preferred!
A typical day
We’ll go on walks around your neighborhood for whatever distance or length of time you’d like. They can be leisurely or a light jog. We can play fetch, tug of war or a belly rub after, whatever your dog prefers! They don’t like walks? Couch cuddles are okay with me!

I work full time in the hospitality industry and have my own cat to take care of. I am mainly looking to care for pets on the weekends. I can do week day walks in the afternoon or in house drop ins before and after work!
