Hi there! We are Alana and Anthony and we are the proud parents to two wonderful canine fur babies! Chip is 5 years old and a 5 pound Yorkie. Don't let his size fool you though! Chip is a tough little guy! Gizmo is 3 years old and is an 18-pound terrier-who-knows-what-mix and loves to keep us on our toes with his antics! We both grew up with dogs and absolutely love them. My family had a Yorkie and a German Shepherd when I was younger and right now, my family has a Havanese, Goldendoodle and two Shih-Tzus! Anthony grew up with lots of labradors and shepherd mixes but now when he visits his family, he gets to come home to three Yorkies! We love our puppies!! We spoil our little boys and we promise to take the utmost care of your little (or big ones too) ones too. We go on frequent walks and at least one trip a day to the dog park (two + times on weekends if weather allows!) Gizmo and Chip are super friendly and love meeting new dogs. We would lovingly welcome your furbaby into our home! ___ A little bit about us: I am a 29-year-old MD/PhD candidate at Georgetown University. Currently, I am doing full-time research in the lab. The great perk of running your own research is flexibility, which makes it very feasible for me to take care (and spoil!) my own dogs, but also any others that are visiting or in the area. Anthony is a personal trainer at the premier gym in Washington DC, Vida Fitness. He trains his clients in the morning and late afternoon to evening so his unique schedule allows for him to be home during the day. Between the two of us, the pups are never alone for more than a few hours! We have watched and walked many dogs for friends informally and are happy to provide references upon request. When I am not busy in the lab or puppy-sitting and Anthony isn't busy improving the health of DC's population, you can find them us on our bikes exploring DC or back in the gym where I focus on olympic-lifting and Anthony trains his gymnastics and calisthenics skills! We are a super active crew and would welcome your puppy on our adventures! What we would like to know about your dog: We are happy to accept small to medium-sized dogs as long as they are comfortable with other dogs and don't mind playing a little bit. Gizmo, in particular, loves to wrestle and play tug-of-war. Chip is a little more reserved, but he will wrestle and play at times too. _____ Some things that are useful to know: -What is your dog's personality like?  -Are there any medical issues I should be aware of? -How is your pooch on leash?
