I grew up in a household where we always had dogs around, and have had the chance to help train and raise 2 golden retriever's from puppies into adult dogs. As a teen, I spent lots of time going on walks and runs with our families dogs. I currently have a 5 year old coonhound rescue at home who is not without his challenges, however being able to provide him with a good home, and help him gain confidence with the world around him has been very rewarding. Additionally, I worked on a horse farm for 5 years, where I spent lots of time around barn dogs(and cats, horses and chickens), and have lots of experience with high energy animals.
