Pet care experience
I had a little puppy once, and now she’s 13. I’ve also always enjoyed taking care of friends’ and neighbors’ dogs, and Rover is a great way for me to make sure that happens.

Al and Brooklyn had a great weekend!! She was very happy to see us but was very content and satisfied. She’s a princess and Al did a great job!!
Our energetic golden retriever had a great time with Alan and Emmy. They had lots of play time and walks, and from all the photos Alan sent, our dog was clearly happy and relaxed at his house. Alan is kind and calm and easily adapted to our dog's routine. He sent regular updates so we could see what fun they were having throughout the week. We would not hesitate to work with Alan again!
Alan has cared for our dog and he is a kind, calm caregiver. Our golden retriever, Bucky would get so excited every time Alan came to our house! I would highly recommend him as a Rover pet caregiver :)
I've known Alan for nearly 10 years and I've watched how he's cared not only for his own dog, Emmy, but we've also entrusted the care of our two chocolate labs - Rufus and Rika - to him when we've been gone on vacation or needed a sitter. Our dogs simply love Al - and he loves them right back; they look forward to seeing him and trust him implicitly. Al is just a very kind and compassionate man - his character and integrity are above reproach. I'd absolutely trust him with my dogs anytime - he's rock solid.

A typical day
Each dog is special in their own way, and I’d like to know about yours. Are they friendly with dogs, and with people? Do they like to run, or just take a leisurely investigatory walk? I’ve found that it’s usually easy to just figure these things out as we go.
