Pet care experience
Growing up as a child on the family farm, I have a great deal of love and respect for animals. We always had dogs and cats running around. Indoor pets and outdoor pets. Best times with my dogs and cats since adulthood would be getting down on the floor with them. To play, cuddle and of course naps. I have 2 dogs, 1 cat living in my home currently. With the addition of another dog sitting, while his Dad recovers in the hospital. All of my kids play with each other, or know their boundries with each other. Aggressive can stay away. I will not put me or my kids at risk. I don't have any problem coming to his/her home. Be it for a walk, feeding or just visiting with each other for an hour or so.

Alan has cared for our family's dogs over the years for weeks at a time. Sometimes in our home, in his home, and even during group camping or cabin vacations where we supervised one another's pets under variable conditions. Alan is a true pet lover/parent. He would be an asset to Rover.com and to anyone looking for the perfect pet-sitter.

I have a mid size home here in the Garfield Park area. Large fenced in back yard, 2 small ponds. Garfield Park is not very far to go to. Or just walking the neighborhood. I will ask if your dog is leash friendly? I will us a leash or haress to walk your dog. Not off leash. My cat Roxie is very independent. We have had up to 3 cats and 2 dogs. I will not bring your cat to my house. They need their own environment to be comfortable. I love cuddling / napping with cats. I am open to babies and elderly. Everyone needs Love !!!!
