I am making myself available for Rover in a limited capacity after adjusting my full time career in financial planning to part time consulting from my home. This has allowed for more time and flexibility to pursue other interests and hobbies, one of them being animals and interacting with them, so I am making myself available for dog boarding, walking, and house sitting and drop-in visits. I am excited to be out of the office and make some new pet friends! I will go the whole (K) 9 yards for your dog. I have lived with and shared the responsibility of owner duties with 4 dogs in my life, all different sizes, types and temperaments A small yet tricky English cocker spaniel, Dusty. Delilah, a minuscule and feisty westie. Taco, an adorable yet huge pitbull. And Hendrix, a huggable and lovable chocolate lab. I have what it takes to befriend dogs of all types, rest assured your animal companion(s) will be in good hands! Talk is cheap, photos say a lot, I have an iPhone 7+ so you can expect to receive high quality photo updates if you like. Safety and comfort will be the top priorities for you and your pet. When house-sitting and I have dogs or other pets under my care I will not have reason to leave the residence for more than an hour or two a day, just to step out for a quick grocery/coffee run or dog walk. My schedule is very flexible and I am available 24/7 in the event of an emergency or if you need a sitter last minute. I will happily walk dogs in any weather. About me: A DC native, born in Georgetown hospital I am very knowledgeable about the metropolitan area and am experienced at walking dogs in DC and am aware of the associated triggers and random food litter. I've been walking and sitting all types of dogs for years, big or small, old or young, with tolerance and patience for all types of canines. I have an SUV and can get wherever I need to, even in inclement weather if need be.
