Pet care experience
I grew up in a house that always had a dog. My dog Bella (Australian Cattle Dog Mix) grew up with me from age 5 to 21 and she was my best friend. Learning to care for her as a I got older, with the help of my family, helped shape me into the person I am today. As Bella aged, she wasn't able to walk or eat as well, so we all learned extremely gentle ways to care for her - especially if it meant helping her to stand back up. A while after Bella, we got Kiwi (Bluetick Coonhound) who is currently just under two years old. Training her has been more of a challenge than with Bella, because as an adult now, I share more of the responsibility and importance of it on top of Kiwi being the most stubborn yet loving dog I've known. Of all the tricks she knows, I'm proudest to say I taught Kiwi how to high-five!

Alaina was an amazing and very attentive dog sitter for us! She was very communicative and timely and sent us lots of photos of our pupper while she was in her care. I would absolutely feel comfortable leaving my animals in her care again!
Alaina is a very patient and caring pet lover. Putting what’s best for the pet first, she never fails to give any animal the attention, care, and love it deserves. Dogs, cats, even fish enjoy her company!

While visiting your pup or kitty, I will be sure to give them quality interaction time by making sure they're fed and watered, as well as take them outside to potty (unless your furry friend has been/is being trained to go potty inside). I'll always be sure to provide plenty of head scratches, pets and words of praise as well as some play time.

A typical day
I would love to take your pup on a walk around your neighborhood! I feel like there are always new smells from other neighbors walking their own dogs that it would be a fun event for your pup. I also enjoy walking at Elizabeth park because it has fresh water and air.

I currently work freelance as a photographer and filmmaker, so on the days I am not booked on set or a shoot, I have completely open to provide pet care and play time.
