Pet care experience
I’ve boarded, walked, and overall taken care of dogs ever since I was 10! I myself have owned big and small dogs and love all breeds! Being a dog owner I know how hard schedules can make it for fitting in walks and finding affordable boarding and want to help people in a crunch! I currently work Monday through Friday, but work a graveyard shift so I’m home during the prime time hours of the day and have the ability to work remote to be with the pups! My dog is with me so they will have a playmate! George, my dog is crate trained but other wise I have 3 different rooms that can be used for your dog to sleep in. My building has a special security code specifically for me as a tenant so it’s very safe. Many dogs live her so they’ll bet a lot of play time. When I wake up for work i immediately feed the dogs breakfast, take them potty and make sure they’re set before I leave for work. I always come back in between my shift for potty breaks. When I come home, it’s walk/ play time and dinner later! I’m good with medicine so if your dog is on prescription I am very good at staying on top of it!

Ailana sent frequent updates and photos of my senior dog while my family was on vacation. He enjoyed staying at her place and enjoyed the company of her dog as well. I intend to have Ailana keep Bo again on my next trip away from home.

Tango loved staying with Alaina over Thanksgiving! Lots of exercise for him with George and lots of pictures for us. Definitely would recommend!
Alaina was awesome! She was able to take Armadillo last minute with no notice and that was so appreciated! We will definitely book again when needed! ☺

I don’t have a fenced yard but my complex is very secluded and has a lot of dogs to play with! We all play in our brass area and is very easy to watch everyone to make sure they’re safe! I have a special door code to my apartment so day and night we are very secure!
Information Alaina K. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if medication would be required and to have a schedule ready for me to use so I can administer thoroughly. Since I have a dog, I would like to know if your dog does well with other dogs for boarding. If you would like your dog to have a bath, let me know ahead of time and bring their out shampoo/ personal items. If there are any treats or food your dig needs to avoid, just give me a list. Last but not least, before boarding I’d love to do meet and greets so we can meet as well as our dogs to see if it’s a good fit!
A typical day
During the week, I wake up feed the dogs and would take both out to potty. I’ll make sure they’re good before going to work, then start the first half of my shift. After I come home in between to give the dogs a potty break, go back or continue remotely. Usually after work we go outside multiple times to play with other dogs or go for walks! On the weekends I like to walk the river near Main Street Cedar Falls or go to the dog park!

Availability
I work full time M-F but it’s a graveyard shift, and am able to work remote if needed! Everyday, I come back in between shifts to take my dog out. When I’m done with my shift, I’m done before noon so prime walking and playtime hours! Then go to bed around 5-7 pm, around dinner time!
