Hi, I’m Alaina! I am a student at MUSC who loves animals! Throughout undergrad I worked with a rescue organization, and I just love getting to be around animals when I’m not studying! With my medical background, I am great with special needs, elderly, puppies, and dogs in need of medicine administration :) I also just love getting to exercise and cuddle up to all animals big and small, so I would love the opportunity to pet sit or walk your best friend!!

I have the space to myself, so there will be no other people or pets to interfere with your animal! Depending on your comfort level, I can keep your dog crated or allow them to explore the whole house! My yard is not fenced, but I live a minute away from a park where they will get to walk, sniff, and socialize. I am also more than happy to come to your home to take care of your pet where it would be most comfortable!

*due to increased demand, I can only do in-person meet and greets for house sitting, >3 scheduled drop ins, or recurring walks. I can do FaceTime or call for anything less than that though so you can meet me, ask questions, or give me special instructions :) * Let me know if your dog is reactive to anything if I am scheduled to walk them. If they are staying at my house or yours, please let me know any thing that your dog might like to get into/chew/ potty on so I can try to avoid it :)
A typical day
I live very close to a variety of parks downtown which I love taking your dogs to! Depending on your comfort level and the dogs training, I would love to take them on runs, walk along the beach, or to a dog park to socialize with other dogs. I am open to anything depending on your comfort level and the dog’s training!!

Availability
I am a student, so dog walking before and after class helps me get much needed exercise! I live downtown, so I can usually walk local dogs on very short notice! I also have a lot of free time (believe it or not) so I have plenty of time to watch your pet at my house or yours, or just drop by to take them out :) I am usually only at the hospital until noon, so before 8 and after noon, I am free!
