Pet care experience
Animal lover and dog mom. I was blessed to be born and raised in Wilmington, a place I still love and call my home. I adopted my first kitten at the age of 7, and I was lucky enough to have 18 wonderful years with him. I adopted my first puppy right after graduating high school and he is my best friend. We added a baby girl to the family and she is the best sister. I have experience caring for animals for 10+ years in my spare time. I love all breeds and ages of dogs and cats. Most of my professional experience with animals has been dog and cat sitting in my home, or at my clients home, and includes feeding, exercising (walking/play time), bathing, grooming, beginner training, and medicating if needed.

Our Great Dane Ranger is always so happy to see Alaina when she’s comes to watch him. I love how many pictures she takes and always leaves us a long message after her visits so we know how he’s doing. We come back home to the happiest boy!!! Thank you Alaina!
Alaina was great but today she canceled/no show an hour before 1st of 4 scheduled bookings three days. This caused stress for both my pets and myself, I had to leave work (lost wages) and cancel a very important appointment at the last minute that cannot be rescheduled. We are beyond sad and disappointed.
Alaina is excellent! We all love her!! She is very sweet, attentive and appreciative of both of my dogs’ personalities and needs. She always shows up and excellent with communication so I have less worry and stress and can focus on work. She is trustworthy and dependable and we are so grateful that she is part of our life and routine. I would also book her in a heartbeat if I needed to be away on a trip and couldn’t take my dogs with me. Thank you Alaina!!

A typical day
We will go to the beach, walk through the neighborhood, the park, go for car rides, get pup cup treats, play with toys, go swimming, go to the groomers or the vet, or just relax & cuddle at the house, inside or out. PS. I love taking pictures so we can send you lots so you don’t miss anything!

I am currently attending UNCW and pet sitting is a great job for me right now while going to school. I have a very open and flexible schedule for the next few years to care for your fur babies!
