Pet care experience

As a kid I grew up with many cats and dogs. But no other pet has taught me how to have more patience, and respect than my own dog Waffles. I found my leadership skills which leads me to always to create safe environments by being proactive and alert. Plus my huge love and respect for dogs in general.. I had no idea that thanks to my own dog, that I found my calling.

Safety, trust & environment

Well one thing I know is that anything can happen. Because she is my only example I will use my own dog Waffles again as an example. My dog is very high energy and so in order to prevent her from creating bad habits like biting on furniture or making a mess in the house is to exercise her before I do my errands or go to work. Also, stimulating her mind by teaching her new tricks. But I understand that in every household there are rules. So no dog on furniture, the kitchen, or certain rooms. And depending on the pet owners house rules I have no problem following their instructions.

Information Alabama R. would like to know about your pet

The only experience I have giving medication to an animal is given prescribed medication to my dog in her food. Or through with peanut butter

A typical day

Types of games we play during fetch is where my dog jumps over under and around obstacles. As well play hide o seek/ tag together and my favorite is hiding the ball and having my dog find it ! There are so many games to play. Also having my work for her food so she does tricks before getting fed like give paw while looking at me and rolling over!

How does pet care fit into my daily or weekly routine? Well I guess there's no better example than I can give you other than the schedule that I have with Waffles. Waffles and I take a walk every early morning for about an hour to get in some exercise, because our health is important. When we get back from a 1 to 3 miles adventure we relax a bit and get some breakfast. She eats about two cup of super nutritionists food. Then I start my day as she relaxes. Depending on what we have planned for the day, I have to make sure my dog gets in some more exercise because she is a very active dog; so we go to a dog park or a field for her to run her heart heart out by playing with other dogs or playing fetch... usually both at the same time. When she's worn out and I will bring her (if I am able to take her with me) to do errands or I just leave her home with toys and bones; so she can nap by the time I get back. When I get back I take her out on a walk around the neighborhood and or play fetch or tug of war.. and usually by this is time in the evening its time for her to eat her dinner.. I continue with my day while she relaxes and if I am getting things done in the yard or downstairs she will hang outside either watching me or anything thats going on outside. Finally, before we go to bed we go out on a final potty break around the neighborhood.
