I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life apart from when I first moved to the UK, where I spent 4 years begging my parents for one. During those 4 years I did a lot of dog walking and minding. I’ve had personal experience with Jack Russels, Maltese Poodles, Labradors, German Shepherds and Cocker Spaniels however, I’ve had professional experience with many more! I love taking dogs for walks or just cozying up for a movie. I’d let your dog sleep on my bed but if you would prefer a basket/crate I would be happy to make sure to fit in with your usual schedule. At your home I will care for your dog just as you ask me to. My priority is you and your dogs comfort so I will base my service around that. As I don’t have a garden, your dogs time outdoors will be in parks and on nature walks. I’ve had lots of experience with puppy training as I am the main trainer for my dog in my own home. I’ve also owned dogs who were really old and had health issues due to this so I am used to all the things surrounding that. I’ve volunteered at the SPCA in South Africa which has allowed me to interact with dogs with all kinds of behaviors and special needs. I have performed the Heimlich maneuver on my own dog before which I learnt from a vet. I have administered oral medication and taken care of wound healing. Having owned 4 dogs of my own throughout my lifetime as well as being constantly surrounded by family and friends’ dogs, I believe I am a very experienced carer.
