Pet care experience
I have at collective 9 years of doggie daycare, walking and sitting experience! I know how to properly administer medication. I have knowledge of many dog breeds and temperaments. I am confident in handling all sizes of dogs! What sets me apart from other dog walkers is that I understand dog body language, I am very patient and extremely loving to dogs! I have always worked with dogs and loved that they match my energy! whatever you need help with as a new owner or not I am always happy to help!!! I Love to get to know dog parents as well to get to know their dog !!

Akiko is always so attentive and kind to our cat!
Akiko was incredible! She watched our senior pup for over 10 days in our home over the holidays. She kept us updated daily and took good care of our home. She was attentive to our senior dogs needs including slow walks, feeding schedule, and even carrying up stairs. We can’t thank her and recommend her enough!
Akiko was extremely responsive and went above and beyond. Our cat clearly loved her too! Akiko exhibited outstanding professionalism and genuine care for our pet. Can’t thank her enough.

I mainly follow the instructions of the pet parent. Whatever they do at home that is routine, I try to follow that routine as well. By that I mean, walking and feeding their fur baby at the scheduled times every day, making sure they are hydrated. I play with them as often as I can .
Information Akiko G. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know the basic things like temperament, their good and bad habits and what to avoid so that the dog is comfortable and safe in whatever environment we happen to be in. I find it important to know things that scary the dog and what makes it really happy as well. If anything the past the dog has as well is important to me, in case of trauma the dog is going through!
A typical day
My go to are parks and dog friendly play areas depending on the breed. big / small dogs that love to play with others will mostly go to the enclosed areas so I can monitor them off leash. For the dogs that are more shy and like to enjoy their walks will mostly stay with me on leash enjoying the gassy areas ! Occasionally Ill jog with the dogs depending on the breed and age!

I am currently unemployed Looking for a job so I have more than enough free time to stay home with the fur baby I am sitting. When I had a remote job I made sure I do a walk and feed before my shift starts, I plan a quick walk during lunch and right after work I would do a walk and dinner !
