Pet care experience
Dogs are the best people. I love to give treats [if allowed ]. We have a doggie door and open for instant access to back yard. My 12 year old Chihuahua/Corgie mix is independent but doesn’t mind new friends. We have a small patio/yard area with a covered patio. I am home all day and can give your pet the attention they deserves. We would not be interested in boarding dogs that have not been potty trained or ones that bark a lot. Our dog does get walked every day but I could not guarantee the thirty minute walk if requested. I have a nice home and love all animals. I look forward to meeting your dog and becoming someone you can count on for as a dog sitter.

I haven't had my dog for very long and I was nervous about how things were going to go since it was my first trip without him. When I brought my dog in to Akhila and Ken's home, my dog immediately felt comfortable. They gave status updates throughout my trip and took great care of him.
Akhila is really sweet. She takes good care of Melo. Melo loves going to her place.

We prefer senior dogs, calm and easy to get along with. Ours is stand off ish.... but warms up quickly Unfortunately doesn't like "play time" but we can still provide thatwith toys and "chase" etc. lol
A typical day
We get up quite early and walk our dog so early needs are not a problem Treats for doing well on walks, We eed our twice a day but will conform to any schedule you have gor yours. Another short walk in the afternoon and access to outside patio area as many as needed

I am retired and at home everyday so, companionship with your pet is not a problem My husband is an over the moon when a new guest arrives. Be prepared for extra spoiling
