Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and cats in my family, and I started dog-sitting for friends in high school. I love taking hikes outside and playing with dogs is a fantastic way for me to relax without having to look at a screen. Nowadays, I'm in school with a pretty irregular schedule, I'm looking to get creative about how I can pay for classes! Because homework can be done whenever I want, it is easy for me to take breaks to play with puppies and take dogs out for walks. I'm a morning person and I like a clean house, so I usually stay tidy and try to leave the place I'm sitting better than when I found it. I'm new to Rover, but have already house-sat for a few coworkers and family friends in the past couple months - feel free to reach out if you want references!

It was my first time leaving my dog and Akash made me feel so at ease. Akash came for a quick visit the week before to meet my dog. He dog sat at my house for 5 days. I appreciated the updates and occasional photo! The house was clean and tidy
Akash house sat and took excellent care my two large (and somewhat unruly) dogs for a week over Christmas break and he was fantastic! A few weeks leading up to the booking Akash came by the house a couple of times to get acquainted with the dogs so that everyone was comfortable. One of my pups is slow to warm up, but Akash was very respectful, understanding, and patient with her. I received pics and videos of the girls during the trip, so I knew they were happy and well cared for. He taught one of them to lie down! :) When I returned the house was in great shape - he had tidied everything, washed the sheets and dishes, vacuumed, and more! He even groomed the dogs. By the end my shy girl was snuggling with him and didn’t want him to go. A great find!!! Highly recommend!!
We have an 11 year old yellow lab - huskie mix and when we go away we prefer to have someone come to our home to keep him in his own space. We hired Akash A to house and dog sit for us for a week. Not only did he care for our dog, fed him, have him his meds, he also walked him frequently. In addition, when we came home he had vacuumed our home (our dog is a big shedder!), our mail was neatly collected, and he left us a note summarizing the week. I highly recommend Akash A to anyone looking to have someone responsible to care for their four legged friends.
