Pet care experience
I've owned dogs of all sizes for most of my life. I've been on Rover since spring 2023. NOTE 1: I can HOUSE SIT for cats but can't BOARD cats due to my roommate being highly allergic. NOTE 2: Due to repeated problems with unneutered males spraying on furniture & curtains, and puppies chewing on walls etc, we have decided to refuse unneutered males and puppies unless you need an emergency sitter or your dog is very well behaved. This is negociable! Note 3: I am disabled so travel by bicycle, I live in Ocean Shores. If you need a sitter further away like in Ocean City, I can only do it if you or someone else gives me a ride.

Our house was left very clean and my cat was happy. Akaki brought in packages and took care of the garbage which was above and beyond.
Kind, on time and always attentive to the two dogs. They love him!
Don’t know what we would do without Akaki. He’s responsible. He’s reliable. And the dogs love him!

Your home: I can feed, wash, walk, administer pills, play and sleep with dogs. My home: I live in a single-storey house with a fenced yard and garage which we can quickly turn dogsafe for special needs dogs. Out of the fenced area, I can take leashed dogs into the canal in my yard. Dogs are allowed on the couch, big chairs and my bed.

A typical day
Dogs usually have fun playing with our labradoodle, who is very high energy and likes to zoom around the house and yard. We can also go on walks, play ball, etc.

Availability
I currently work at a hotel part-time (1-2 days a week, typically from 10am to 4pm) and can care for dogs in my free time. When not working I usually stay at home. I live with my mom who has experience caring for special needs dogs (seizures, medicine etc) and who also has a Rover account and irregular work schedule. When boarding your dog at least one of us will normally be home at all times.
