As it is with most pet sitters, I've had dogs in my life forever. In addition to having and taking care of my own dogs and those here on Rover, I have spent a lot of time volunteering at animal shelters, working with animals there while they're waiting for a home.

AK took great care of my boys while I was visiting in Acadia for a few days. Highly recommend!
We spent a week in Bar Harbor. A.K kept Walter every day for us. He was running into their house every day at drop off. Walter is 14 lbs and got along great with their very large dog, Lora. He had so much fun every day and was exhausted. A good Jack Russell is a tired Jack Russell. :) A.K. and family were great with him and put up with a high energy puppy all week. It made our vacation wonderful. He played all day then we had him in the evening for dinners, shoppimg, exploring, and campfires. A.K took him on walks or hikes every day. They also live right in the heart of Bar Habor so it was very convenient as well. Thank you, A.K!
My pup had a lovely stay with A.K. For doggie-day-care when he needed some rest from hiking. He was well-taken care of and AK provided pictures and updates. When I picked up my dog, he had a new energy like he was recharged and well rested. I can’t thank AK enough for taking my reservation at the 11th hour and providing a safe place for my dog to rest!!!
PK is very accommodating, responsive and easy to work with. Our dog, Kebo, spent the day at PK’s home, which includes a fenced yard and playmate Lora, PK’s well-behaved and easy-going Great Pyrenees. Kebo is eager for his next visit.

Growing up, one of my family dogs had a lot of health problems, and another got to be very very old. That goes to say, I'm super comfortable with any type of health need your pet may have, just let me know!
